Born and raised in Grenada, partially cultured in Brooklyn NY, and now living in Central Texas. I am Tameeka. Married to handsome Deon, together we have one son and his name is Timothy.

I became a born-again believer at age 12, baptized at 15 and have been following Jesus ever since. I laugh at clean comedy. I write about my days mostly in fancy journals. I have been an ACORN canvasser, Chase bank teller, Macy’s store clerk, Pryor and Sons home cleaner, Girling Home health aid, Extend a Care afternoon teacher, Life License Primerica agent and Texas Works Advisor. Ambitious and hardworking-yes I am a Dreamer. 

Presently, I stay at home to care for and teach Timothy who came along at a time when I least expected in 2017. My 30th birthday gift. The son whose name God had already given to me years earlier. The son who changed my body, my life’s perspective, and adjusted my dreams. Timothy is my sweet-sweet and I am blessed to be his momee. I am also a new Children’s book author! My first book Little Timothy Faith was published in July (my birthday month) 2022. It is essentially my first baby, planted in my heart since college years and completed on paper in 2013. Over the years, I have added and made changes to the story, but the message remains the same. Little Timothy Faith is a book about discovering faith as a child through the power of prayer. Little Timothy is a combination of me and my youngest brother, Kyle, growing up in Grenada.
