10th wedding anniversary ๐part 1

A very special year 2023 has been for us. We returned from Grenada in January.๐๐พ
First book signing for Little Timothy Faith in February and we also celebrated Deon’s 38th birthday ๐๐
Gave money to the IRS in March ๐๐ก
I wanted to get a divorce in April ๐ซฃ๐ญ
Other drama and life issues and changes
Continued marital counseling or couples therapy in June and July โค๏ธ๐๐พ
Celebrated my 36th birthday in July ๐๐๐I also did a 40 day prayer challenge ๐๐พby zoom every morning.
Prayed through August to prepare for school and guests, plan for anniversary ๐
And then came September we will always remember. Started off sweet with a visit from my best friend Cheoma from high school with her husband from Massachusetts. We had fun at the ice cream museum ๐ and played games at punch bowl social ๐
Then as soon as they left, my mom came to visit from Grenada. Deon cut off spectrum TV so streaming was entertainment while he worked and used our only vehicle so mommy, Timothy and I stayed house bound. We laughed at Amen and in between resting, we started little homeschool activities from his big curriculum book and bonded with his grandma.
The day before I wanted to restart structured homeschooling, on Sunday September 10th, I lost our baby.
On September 10th I miscarried sitting on our toilet! ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญโค๏ธ
Much to share in a separate post or my memoir which I already entitled My Miraculous Miscarriage…so glad that my mommy was here! God is good and a keeper and He works all the details of our lives, the good and the messy, the painful and the parties — all of it– for our ๐ good!
But we ended September giving praise in a whole new way for life and family ๐ and had a sweet time again at the museum of Icecream ๐ฆ๐this time with Grandma T ๐
Then came October. To say goodbye to Gramma T, my mommy. To grieve. To begin healing…to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary ๐๐โค๏ธโค๏ธ
My husband took us to Atlantis Bahamas and it was nothing short of AMAZING!
