Grateful for

I am excited to start a new month because I checked off most of my goals for September.

I am grateful that God has kept my husband safe and employed during the 6 months plus of COVID-19 in the US. Our family is doing well.

I am grateful that my son is healthy, had a great summer without any falls, asthma attacks or scarring bruises.

I am grateful to have cut my hair off! That was exciting and new-very spontaneous too! And a church sister really loves my new look and commended my bravery 🙂

I am grateful to have had a long chat with my youngest sister who turned 26 on September 27th. Age 26 was a life long turning point for me as that was the age I got married (no degree, no driving license, no career virgin)–The only part of that plan was to be a virgin but I am grateful how life turned out. I am grateful that my sister will continue on her own path and have a great 26th year of her choice!

I am grateful to be one day closer to be an international published writer!

I am grateful to be a part of our on going One Heart Women Ministries Wednesday noon zoom chat and check up. It has been nourishing, encouraging and inspiring in so many helpful ways. Also humbling and a reminder that I have much to give God thanks for. Thank God for women.

I am grateful to have learned to accept that God’s plan is the best plan for my life! And I believe the more I reflect and live, the better I will grow in just trusting Him and living out the process of each season in my journey.

I am grateful to see other blogger/writers who have started like I have and now have graduated unto their own personal websites and are doing great! So glad for their examples.

I am grateful to be neither pro Biden nor pro Trump or prodemocratic or pro republican. Watching Dr. Tony Evans confirmed my belief that God uses whom He pleases to accomplish His will. It gives me a sense of peace amid the chaos and confusion, bickering and straight out mess that is happening in these United States. I also read that it takes a Christian to love someone like the rude, ruthless, too tongue talking, successful business white man that we have as current President.

I am grateful to choose LOVE! Grateful for God’s love.

What are you grateful for in 2020 so far?
