Broccoli Mac and Cheese disaster ish
“It’s not delicious, it’s disgusting “
The initial comment from Timothy was, “you are confused because you said it taste good but it doesn’t.”
I like creating my own spin on things to be healthy, practical and simple but prayerfully, hopefully, JESUS HELP ME– tasty meals for us to enjoy. I do not enjoy cooking and did not volunteer to learn as a teenager. I call them Tameeka scratch kitchen meals 😅 .
Unfortunately, this blended steam broccoli with whole wheat Macaroni and cheese creation did not go well with Timothy. I must admit that I had to convince myself to eat it! 😅 It’s well seasoned and good but we won’t call it the most delicious meal I ever cooked.

So we ate and discussed a bit on the food and being polite about what we don’t like. Timothy declared it’s best to just leave out the broccoli. I suggested that we leave it as a side .
Ways to express your disdain for meals someone kindly preparedfor you include
It’s kinder to say I don’t like how this taste ??
Thank you but I rather eat something else ??
I told Timothy that when I don’t like one thing, I eat it together with something on my plate that I do enjoy when possible. He agreed to eat the BM&C with the baked bbq chicken thighs. And I am okay with saving myself the extra work (steaming then blending then washing the extra tools and gadgets) 🙄 and just leave the veggies on the side!
