There goes my Sweetsweet, reading

There sits my sweet boy. Quietly turning the pages of his Beginner’s Bible while watching their old episodes on YouTube. It’s me and him all day long. We pray. We laugh. We sing. We learn. We eat. We play. I teach. He listens. His dad goes to work as an electrician, gets home by 6 pm or later. He eats. Then either go sleep or stay in the bedroom. Barely and rarely interacting with Timothy. Tired. We get it. Not complaining.
Just giving a shout out to the moms who do the best they can and to the dads who do the same. Shout out to the dads and moms who work all day long but still muster up the energy to have quality time with their children after work. Just because parenting is sacrificing on many different levels and they understand the needs of children and are willing to meet emotional as well as financial needs. Shout out to my sweet Timothy for just sitting and reading right now. Not complaining.
Cheers to nuclear families. Big cheers to Timothy my sweet sweet and God given gift. I was reminded of that yesterday — he is my gift! Cherish your gifts. Spend time with your children.
