It has been a long time since I have blogged. I will share some of what I have been up to lately below. Thank you for sticking around! Cheers to a victorious and JOYFUL 2026!
We started attending and became members of a new church as a family. Here is a picture of us in powerful, peaceful and pretty pink on Sunday January 11th, 2026.
We travelled to NYC for almost the entire month of December 2025. It was what I call a mission trip to help where we could and as needed. This was Timothy’s first trip to New York and Deon’s second. It was great to reconnect in person with family and some church friends again. It was a December to remember filled with reminders of how precious life and family are! We saw the goodness of God in the midst of all that was happening. God’s grace was evident! Timothy got to see and touch snow which is a rare occurrence in Texas! Although he was excited to see it fall, he was not ready to frolic in the white bed of ice! Haha! He enjoyed his first subway train ride. He was thrilled to see the lights of Times Square as we traveled to Manhattan a couple times.
Last year, I graduated as a Certified Christian Life Coach in September from the Called Coach Institute! I am still enrolled, learning in community about building my Coaching Business. I am grateful to work out my God given calling while guiding others to the transformation they seek. My God assigned encourager, Aunt Rhonda, introduced me to Called Women which led to me enrolling to become a Coach.
Since I was a teenager, my friends and classmates have come to me for prayers, advice and to help them with relationship and life struggles. Married women just seem to always confide in me, sharing personal issues and concerns. Coaching gives me the tools to be better equipped with training to help, together with the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Helping people, especially Believers, who are willing to grow, learn and change motivated me to become a coach!
2025 was a year filled with growing pains, emotionally, spiritually and even physically. I fell while at Desperate for Jesus conference in Dallas, twisting my right knee, causing intense pain. With the help of my Coaching friend Deborah, Mama Harvey, her daughter and cousins, I was able to get to the ER then attend the last day using crutches and a wheel chair. This was not the ’38 shall be great’ birthday gift I wanted. God showed me how He always places people at the right time and place to help me move forward. I had to literally lean on others to move around but got to rest and heal, allowing my husband to serve me and Timothy is new, caring ways.
I started a new Podcast entitled, Tips, Talks and Testimonies with Coach Tameeka on Spotify. I even sent out my first Newsletter! My prayer partner Shawnelle started a jewelry business and I was blessed to be one of her first models when she sent me a pair of pretty pink and gold earrings. I am more active on TikTok (imagine that haha) and created a youtube channel for Coaching. I am thriving. I am doing well. I am winning. I protect my JOY and I move forward from Victory! I am praying that you do the same! Be all who God created you to be while prioritizing family in 2026! Have a Happy New Year!
