Idol worship

Timothy saw a Buddha statue in the mall today in a crystal store. I told him that it’s a god to some people who worship it/him. He said “I thought people only worship idols in the Bible “…I said no that’s why we need to tell others about Jesus. His response was so matter of fact–well that’s strange plus it’s ugly so why would people worship that…
And I pray that remains his attitude with compassion for those who don’t know and even more boldness to stand on what he knows and to tell others!
Buddha is dead and does nothing!! He can’t smell the incense or eat the fruit. Jesus is alive! He lived. He died. He rose again from the dead and lives today!! In out hearts!! He speaks to us !! Invite Jesus in!! Hallelujah
The Bible tells about others who despised David because he danced before God with all his might. We want to be like King David whose heart was for God no matter how people look at us or what the culture says is popular for a time. God is worthy to be praised!!
We had a great mom and son time at the mall today đđ. God is not only at the church out on Sundays …He is with us everywhere!
