My yellow cheese like dress ๐Ÿ’›

It was given to me by my best friend Cheoma when she visited us last September. We visited the Museum of Icecream when she wore her white cheese like dress. I didn’t wear mines then, missing an opportunity to be twinsies! I knew I needed pants for the ball pit and fun with Timothy at the Icecream place…and I didn’t have my strapless bra…

Yellow is my favorite color and I like the brighter sunflower tones! I love yellow fruits like bananas, mangoes, pineapples and star fruit. I love this dress and I love my high school bestie. The dress is a perfect fit! And she bought it having not seen me in person since 2015!

I wore the dress to attend church later that month when my mom visited. It was the same Sunday September 10th when I bled before church then suffered a  miscarriage after church- at home. I have not worn this dress since. It’s an extra special dress that I will forever cherish.๐Ÿ’

Today I wore it proudly, strapless bra and all with slippers to show off my yellow painted toenails. I left my son and my husband and drove off to have some Tameeka alone time – away from home. I took my 100 Days of Believing Bigger journal, turned on some gospel music and zoomed off with a smile.

I rejoiced. I laughed. I danced. I sang loudly. I ate. I parked and journaled. I listened. I prayed. I shopped ๐Ÿ˜‚ then left the dresses and other items in the shopping cart an hour, many walking steps later, only buying the basket ball pump needed and a car freshener. I thank God!

Now I am rested, relaxed and happy to be home. I gave Timothy a bath then he reminded me that he’s not a baby so don’t play the Veggie Tales lullaby song! ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ซ I elevated my feet doing nothing more than listen to the veggie tales goodnight songs for a while. Today, in my yellow dress, I was blessed! ๐Ÿ’›

Good night. God bless.
