We wish you a Merry Christmas 2023! blessings to your family from our fa…

We had a wonderful Christmas at home together. We miss our family in Grenada. We are grateful to have Grenadian things to have a big Grenada Christmas as my husband would call it. My mom sent us delicious oh so good Fruit cake and black cake. I think she is THE BEST HOME BAKER IN GRENADA!! and we had sorrel drink that Deon mom sent (he used all of it to my despair ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ž) the syrup he made was too sweet!! I only used half of what my mom sent last week. We did not bake ginger bread cookies but I wore them on my pajamas ๐Ÿ˜‚ and Timothy and I used a bear head cookie cutter for his breakfast pancakes. We kept it simple and fun! We got each other lovely gifts, mostly items that were needed like underwear, shoes and socks, PJs and household items like new shower curtains! And this year my focus was to send gifts to church elders and our fav church grandmothers. I am ashamed to say that I also still have Christmas cards in my bag waiting to be mailed. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Timothy had fun opening some of his gifts! His biggest and most favorite was not the awesome Spidey and friends tower from his dad— it was the 3 feet tall tower from Grandma T!! A paw patrol headquarters from their first movie!!

Shame on toy makers for charging so much for plastic!! Haha but joy and excitement on a child’s face has no price?? (Oh yes it does!!) ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅณ

Deon did most of the cooking on our ninja Foodie Grill ๐Ÿ˜ and I assisted. We enjoyed grill whole chicken, asparagus, corn, mash potatoes, Mac and cheese for Timothy , garden salad and gave thanks!!

My favorite gift for Timothy was from my only parent friend and Timothy’s buddy’s family (Nicole and Josiah). I posted a wish list of what I wanted for Timothy and she gave just that! What he likes and what mama preferred neatly wrapped with a lovely card and smart note from his 8 year old buddy! So cool!

I enjoyed a thin slice– okay it was 2 slices- of my favorite oh so good banana bread with chocolate from the Renfro bakers and Timothy’s God parents Karen and Fred! Yum! They also got him the illuminated educational globe that I wanted to get him from the wishlist I shared!! I was so excited to see this when Timothy opened up more presents on Boxing Day!

I am grateful for each and every person who took the time out to think of us, to buy us gifts, to send Christmas wishes, to pray for us, to just mention our names before God!! Hallelujah. Bless those who bless us oh God! The cookies from Pastor and his family were scrumptious!!

Oh and the golden rose from my husband – wow. What a lovely surprise! My favorite gift …besides my mom’s cakes ๐Ÿ˜„ and the banana bread ๐Ÿ˜„ okay my absolute favorite gift from my husband ๐Ÿ˜˜ so precious!! I am grateful!

Even striped to re-do my hair using my new flat iron for fine hair from Conair

Another favorite gift that Timothy received was a personalized book from my bestie Cheoma! Grateful for her and Antoine keeping us on their list!!

We have been given plenty!! Spiderman onesie from bro Ty was another of my favorites for Timothy! Okay, guess I better stop with the names — I really do appreciate them all!! My dad was the second to send greetings and he sent plenty of cash for his only grandson for which we are grateful!! My first greeting was from a woman God assigned to me during this season, Auntie Rhonda! She is a gift that keeps on giving! And I am grateful that she and her husband are a part of our lives!! Sis Delphine and Ministers Ray and Darlene! Sis Johnson! Chatting with my Canadian brother and aunty Petra…texts and phone calls, emails and all! Candy cane and toys and cards from the Perkins!

We received Greetings from my friend Tina who celebrates her birthday today (still side eyeing Deon on missing out hanging out with them fancy camping). I am grateful to all, for all!! Hallelujah

Christmas brings me joy! The message from Pastor Tim from Times Square Church was remarkable as well as their Christmas play! Blessed to have enjoyed it from home โ˜บ๏ธ looking forward to visiting their church in future. (It’s on YouTube, please check it out)!

And that’s a wrap for holidays but Immanuel lives year round so basically it’s always Merry Christmas
