Bible story crafts
We created Crown of thorns with playdough and toothpicks. Timothy’s hands were used to make the palm branches that the people waved and shouted Hosanna!! We talk about Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. We look at videos on YouTube and explain their meaning. We also read about Jesus in The Beginner’s Bible Storybook for children. We will remove a thorn each time we do something good.
I do not want to just go to church and take Timothy. I want to ensure he understands our Christian faith and it’s history and power! Jesus is alive. That’s sweeter than any bunny shaped chocolate. đ
Our church is doing a 40 day Lenten Season Fast. We stick to the fast as much as possible, abstaining from flour and sweet. Timothy is fasting from sweets. He even shared that he likes doing the sweet fast. He also wanted a brownie the last time we went to chick FIL a and kept on asking when will it be Good Friday?! I totally understand. We are all learning to discipline our bodies and focus more on spiritual things and the benefits of sacrifices.
