In good times, praise God

I am grateful that Deon gets to spend field trip Fridays with Timothy and I. Today we went to the Cinema at Timothy’s request. We watched the Super Pets movie.

Last Friday, we all had fun at the Austin Aquarium then ate and hung out at Lakeline mall.

Even though my husband and I disagreed on arrival time and eating lunch before the movie, we ended the day on a good note of understanding. I shared my concern about previews not appropriate for Timothy with Deon and my reason for not being seated at the exact movie start time given on our tickets. And he listened. Mostly 😂 The Bible verse for Timothy’s kindergarten first month is James 1:19. I am learning to communicate better and be quick to listen and slower to get angry. I had moments of being angry when it seemed like Timothy was not listening or following along as I taught. I am glad that in those times, he tells me. And other times when I doubt if I can teach him, he reassures me and God reminds me to tap in to the other resources I have like Education dot com.

Super Pets was an exciting children’s movie . We watched. We laughed. We exclaimed praises and assumptions. Afterwards, Deon took us to Bath and Body works then to Target. Timothy and I are going to enjoy these precious moments of being all together during the day while they last!!
