I think it was a pair of Coach sneakers on sale at Macy’s for $75 ?? While I was a Bank teller at JP Morgan Chase in Brooklyn NY. 😂🤭😥
Oh no, it was an eggplant gown for a wedding in Miami for $99 from Macy’s. It hurt my heart that the couple divorced in less than what it cost me for my hair and nails and gown and travel 😩🫣
Okay– I do not remember but I do know that my mindset on luxury purchases has changed! I like good quality at low prices because it is widely available especially in NY. I have always been okay with wanting and waiting, shopping around and not rushing to purchase anything. I am okay with clean hand me downs and reusing. I’m always thinking about who else needs something ? How can I maximize this purchase?
So maybe it was my wedding gown for $500 plus with the money my dad gave me. I no longer fret about “spending so much to wear it for a few minutes for one day”! 😅😂
