Does not apply to some but

‭Proverbs 14:4 KJV‬ [4] Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: But much increase is by the strength of the ox. https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.14.4.KJV

This verse helps explain it all. When the house had no man. It was clean. No socks on the floor, clothes thrown and hung everywhere…cause it is simply against the law to wear something once and hang it up or out in dirty laundry! They cook using all the utensils and dishes and apparently all the burners too!! To make a chicken sandwich 🤣😂🤔🤔 okay maybe spaghetti…

No ox– clean crib. No man — clean house— for the most part. I do know some not so clean women (but that’s for another post)– and I for one don’t always clean behind the toilet 😂🤣. Dirty laundry, dirty dishes, dirty house does not seem to bother SOME men at all! And some enjoy the fact that the women would eventually get tired and give in and do it all– all the while also being full time outside workers in many cases–😌 or already taking care of most things and children at home.

The ox represents hard work! Work done efficiently — the provision! The harvest!! The breadwinner in many cases are the men! The same men who work in the field– outside– then return to the crib and simply chew food and sleep.

Anyway, as we close out men’s month, cheers to all the dirty homes but bills are paid because of the Strong OX!! and the tired women who can barely keep one room clean alone because she lives with an ox 😊.

P.s I think it’s also a verse to help the women know what to expect…not what to continuously fret about and hey learn to just let it be and rest as well!
