Help– Thanksgiving

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.28.7.KJV

A brief note to moms who have been up late, then started cooking early on Thanksgiving with little or no help AND still had to entertain their toddlers — GOD IS YOUR HELP.

Sometimes moms can be stuck in the routine of doing the ‘mostest’ even refusing help from children, spouses or other caring people who are willing to help. ACCEPT HELP AND REST MAMA.

Hope those of you who celebrate #Thanksgiving had a wonderful day! Not burned out and bitter because you worked yourself worn!!

We the Griffiths Austin LLC 😉are not big on most American traditions as we are born and raised Caribbean folks so we don’t have a deep rooted connection. To put it plainly, some traditions really don’t even make sense or have TRUE meanings 😩😶😅 We are grateful for FOOD, FAMILY AND FUN!! We respect the traditions of others and partake when we see fit.

For some families, THANKSGIVING (the big meals and togetherness) is done every week! That is what I aspire to have…when I have a personal chef of course 🤭

I hope that we really think about why we do what we do and offer and receive HELP! No one person is meant to do it all. And give THANKS every day!
