Joyce Meyer got a Tattoo

And she is NOT saying that every Christian should, or every Christian would agree. I grew up in a culture where tattoos were seen as sin! And if you’re a church goer–getting a tattoo was a no-no! I looked at people with tattoos as crazy and weird as a child. As a teenager, I liked the expressions of art on some of them and decided to read what the bible said. What about people who already had tattoos when they received Jesus? Do they get them removed? Well, I think, if an atheist or satan worshipper had I worship satan words tattooed then came to Christ, it would make sense to remove that! hahah

I have come to understand through reading the bible and talking to God about it that tattooing is a personal decision. Just like wearing earrings and certain clothes. Just the same, what the tattoo says or depicts and what the motive of our hearts matters most! Get tattoo paws like Eve on my breasts to show the world? Would that please God? NO IT WOULD NOT! Well I belong to Jesus as well— not going to pay for pain to have it inscribed on my skin like Joyce did, but I will proudly let the world know, remind the devil and MYSELF that I belong to JESUS! Tattoo or not 🙂
