It’s unfortunate that some folks only call when they want something.
It’s even sadder that the same thing happens at home and the unkind culture is the same at some churches. “They only want your goodies”. 😂 Bring ya gifts and good works. Come work work work work work aka VOLUNTEER
No calls to find out how are you!? No time to fellowship or to get to know you and pray with you.

Just calls to desperately keep Sunday worship alive — use u and abuse u then get an attitude when you’re burnt out and tired– then they trash u to the next person😩

Don’t be a busy body for the building sake. There is no teaching on how to serve, how to effectively use your gifts and talents, no interests in your ideas and what new things you can bring and no genuine consistency in serving one another. It’s just do enough work to keep the church doors open.

It’s a sad cycle that is not biblical. The good news is that God’s grace is able to cover and the Holy Spirit will teach and correct. It’s up to the people in buildings to follow 🙏🏾So use discerning when answering those needy calls. Respond as God will have you to and serve the people, not the building– with a heart for Christ.
