Homemade Jamaican beef patties with a twist

The twist is keeping the dough simple and Tameeka style. Only cold water, salt, tumeric, butter and for the flakiness crisco shortening ☺️ I added diced bell peppers with the ground chuck beef. My first time and it taste soooo good. Looking forward to making these regularly. Our patties in Grenada are usually smaller and round. I am grateful that my family and our American friends also enjoyed my patties.
