I love yellow.

I love my big bright eyes that I got teased for growing up.

I love my lashes so I never tried fake ones and rarely enhance them with mascara or ever had my brows waxed (insta filter extension look good though)

I love my complexion. Never thought it was too dark. Never been told I’m cute for a darkie …but a sales man did say that he loves my complexion and kept starting at me …never wanted to be lighter. Nutmeg with a lickle cinnamon I call my brown skin!

I love my nose and my lips. Was teased for having long lips, rep lips but that never bothered me– I prefer lipgloss to lipstick so they can POP even more. Haha

My toddler says that I have bumps on my face like other mommies 😂🤣 I do have acne but not terribly — I am grateful for MY Face and all of me.

Jesus LOVES ME. He loves me when I behave UNCHRISTIAN-LY. He loved me when I was skinny and He still loves me right now! And so I LOVE ME.

I acknowledge my flaws and my weaknesses. I choose to grow, to learn, to explore, to LIVE and to LOVE ME.
