Timothy asks

As many five year old do, Timothy asks questions all day long. Everyday. And sometimes at night. Questions about questions on questions.

Last night as he sat on our bed with his Beginner’s Bible, he asked us questions.

Why do you love God, mommy? I answered and had to remind him to let me finish without interrupting. Then he shared why he loved God- because God gave us the Bible and because he is in heaven even if there are no toys there 😅 then he asked his daddy the same question.

I love God because He is good all the time. I love his omnipresence and having moved so many times in my life, I am so glad that God is everywhere at the same time! I love God because He loves me and gave us Jesus and the Holy Spirit and has heaven for my eternity with Him.

I am grateful for those questions from Timothy 😊❤️ it is important for Christians to know God and why we worship Him. Timothy followed up with another question which was why do we love the Bible? Earlier after dinner, he asked us what was our favorite Bible verse and Bible story. **Side praise** Deon came home from work and helped cooked the pork chops I had seasoned. We were in the kitchen together which is a rare occurrence and it was such a blessing!
