COVID-19 TO DOs
🤗Stay informed. Listen. Learn. Prepare.
🤗Keep your phones charged. If you are like me, All of my emergency contacts, notes and important infortmation are on the phone.
🤗Pray! Check out YouVersion app for info on #prayer #hope #revelation #fear and more topics that are relevant to this time. As a Christian, prayer helps me to remain calm, focused and hopeful that this will soon end. 🙏🏾
😂Laugh! I recommend comedian #Michael Jr. He is hilarious. Jesse Duplantis, #KevOnStage, Anjelah Johnson are some of my favorites for laughter! You can check them out for free on youtube. Off course there are also comedy movies. The Holy Bible tells us that laughter is good #medicine. I like good medicine!
🤗Check on someone from your contact list. Call. Say hello. And whn someone calls or text you- respond with an honest heart.
😜*let your toddler make a mess. I mean to eat like a toddler should. I will post separately about my hesitancy to allow Timothy to feed himself regular foods.
🤗Go outside for walks and rides. Play outside. Maybe even start a garden. I had fun pulling up weeds in our backyard!
🤗Read a good book. Books of the bible are good books too. Look over a magazine. Read an online blog. Read new recipes.
🤗Dream! Scroll through something you like on Pinterest or Instagram. Maybe beaches or shoes or tidy toddler rooms! Day dream and fill your mind with wonder and excitement!
🤗Try a new hairstyle at home. I have not relaxed my hair in about 2 years. It is fine to coarse or some when in between. I miss having sleek ponytails or just straight hair so today I finally pulled out my flat iron. Although my hair is not professional stylist Indian straight– my arms got tired– I did it and I am happy with my results.
What do you plan to do for the next 2 weeks? I thank God that Timothy and I are home so things are pretty much normal here. I pray for other families who have tougher decisions to make and those who have been directly infected with the virus. Jesus sees, He cares and He is near! ❤
